Our bodies are the Lord’s temple. We are not our own. The way that we dress should bring glory to Him. How would God want us to dress? Look at the Greek meanings of some of the words in 1 Tim. 2:9. True modesty doesn’t mean sloppiness, but orderliness, humility, and shamefacedness, instead of display. We don’t need to be ashamed of being different from the world. We are not of this world.
