Words like Death or dead are mentioned 839 times in the Old Testament. That’s a lot of death. But that’s not the end of the story. God sent Jesus to be a partaker of our flesh and blood, to take upon Himself death and to die for mankind. Emanuel goes through Isaiah 53, looking at the things that Jesus died for, and what that can mean in our lives when we take those things to the cross.
