Forgiveness and Justification

We have the opportunity and the responsibility to forgive others. That doesn’t mean that we forget what happened to us, but it means we don’t hold a grudge or bitterness toward the other individual. If we don’t forgive and clear their record then God will hold us responsible for all of our sins that had been forgiven in the past just like the unmerciful servant who wouldn’t forgive his fellow servant. God gives us the grace to make the choice to forgive.
