Holy Communion

Holy Communion is a memorial service, a commandment of the Lord and a testimony recalling the death of Jesus Christ. Paul needed to correct the Corinthians for their wrong practice of the Lord’s Supper, explaining that participating unworthily leads to guilt concerning the sanctity of communion, as well as explaining why some are weak, sickly and asleep.
