Identifying the Text and Its Theme

As the second in a series, this message continues pointing out several of the advantages of expository preaching before moving on to cover the first two steps of preparing an expository sermon. To prepare an effective sermon, you must first clearly define the limits of your passage, and then determine the central idea of the passage, and what God is saying about that idea.
