Jesus Explained the Father

Is God an intimate and loving Father to me or does He seem distant and uncaring? Am I fearful or am I a person of peace even in very trying situations? Am I secure in my Father’s love no matter what others may say or think of me? Jesus, our perfect Example, could sleep through a storm and eat with outcasts. He was intent and focused on doing the Father’s will demonstrating clearly what the Father was like.
