Let a Man Examine Himself

In preparation for the Lord’s Supper, believers are called to examine themselves before partaking of the bread and the cup. Some questions during such examination would inquire about one’s prayer life, interest in the Scriptures, victory over besetting sins, life in Christ, keeping of God’s commandments, love for the brothers, love for the world, attitude toward sin and the visibility of any fruit of righteousness.
