Christ suffered for us in the flesh, and we are to arm ourselves likewise with that same mind of Christ. As Christians, we are to control our bodies, not be controlled by them. Those in the world will think we are strange and speak evil of us for not participating in their excesses of food, lusts and other pleasures.
