Overcoming the False Prophet Nature

The Bible makes it clear that as humans we were born with a sin nature that makes us stray from God by default. We can become good at hiding our sinful heart, falsely professing to be changed by Christ. We have a choice: trust in our own flesh and ability to make ourselves look righteous; or trust in God and accept His reproof and the new, soft heart that He wants to give us.
