Possessing Our Inheritance

Our inheritance in Christ is a free gift that we receive by faith. It includes the blood that cleanses us from the guilt and penalty of sin, Christ’s work on the cross that saves us from the power of sin, and the Holy Spirit who enables us to live the overcoming life of Jesus. We need to possess our inheritance by faith! When the twelve spies returned from scouting out Canaan, ten of them spoke words of unbelief. Two of them spoke words of faith, that looked to the Lord for the victory. God responded by doing to each of them according to their words. Look at the provision that is promised in God’s Word, and speak words of faith, based on God’s promises!
