The Antidote to Covetousness

How can we deal with covetousness in our lives? As the apostle Paul hinted at in Ephesians 4:28, become a giver instead of a taker! We were created to be life-givers. We were created to have full access to the Tree of Life and the River of Life, like Adam and Eve did in the Garden. But sin cut off those life sources, and mankind has become takers.

Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil, and to give us life abundantly. As we drink from this life-giving river and allow it to flow out of us, we can again become givers instead of takers.
