The Fallen State of Man

God created man as a three-part being, consisting of body, soul, and spirit. He was the crowning glory of God’s creation. Satan convinced man that God was keeping him from a higher good than what he had, and he fell for the lie. As a result, man died spiritually: he was separated from God. Man fell from a God-centered being to a man-centered, self-centered being. He needs salvation!
