The Neglected Key to the Christian Life

Is your view of the Gospel man-centered or God-centered? Many Christians today believe that they have the right to have their dreams come true, to be healed of every sickness, to have all the money they need, etc. But do we? Paul looks at the seven times in the gospels where variations of this teaching are recorded: “He who saves his life shall lose it, and he who hates his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.” If each of us embrace this teaching, what kind of effect would this have on our lives and our relationships?
