The Titanic, Jonah, and God

The captain of the Titanic is said to have stated, “Not even God Himself can sink this ship.”  Jonah, on the other hand, chose to flee instead of go to Nineveh because he knew something of the character of God. He said, “I knew that You are gracious, merciful, very kind, slow to anger, and forgiving!” Your view of God affects how you approach Him, and God gives grace to the humble.
