God Is in the Manger

What a sign that the angel gave to the shepherds: a baby swaddled and lying in a manger! The story of Jesus coming to earth and becoming God with Us is full of astounding paradoxes. The angels appeared to peasants. The problem of a census by a dictatorial Roman emperor furthered God’s plan. And while God’s glory was blazing in the sky, God Himself was lying in the manger.
