The Gospel Delivers Me from Me

Something that man lost in the fall was the ability to bear the image of God’s love on earth, and so men and women go through life desperately searching for love. Jesus came to restore that representation of God’s love on the earth. Yet so often we rebel against love in our self-centeredness. Jesus came, not just to save us from hell, but also to save us from ourselves so we also can be image-bearers of God’s love to the world.
