The Remedy for the Guilty Conscience

Guilt is universal. It is the response to a broken law. Man has a tendency to hide guilt, even if the consequence for covering is greater. False guilt is the response to a lack of faith. When God grants time, it is due to His mercy, not tolerance of sin. Guilt not only impairs us physically and emotionally, but it hinders our spiritual life. Whoever confesses and forsakes sin will find mercy.
